The Grenada International Uplift Corporation (formerly Grenada Uplift Association) is a non-profit organization formed 24 years ago by a group of Seventh-Day Adventist Grenadians with the objective of creating an avenue to support Grenadians in need in the U.S. and Grenada. Over the years, the focus of the organization expanded to encompass not just Grenadians but other worthy causes regardless of national origin. Some of the organization’s past projects include: (i)scholarships to college students, (ii) financial support for persons needing medical treatment in the U.S., (iii) financial contributions to the St. George’s General Hospital renovation project, (iv) supplies to the Belair home for children in Grenada, and (v) the Charles Memorial Home for senior citizens to name a few. Membership in the organization is not limited to Grenadians or persons of Grenadian descent but is open to persons with a passion for serving others and who espouse the guiding principles of the organization. The organization is a non-profit (501) (c) (3), and donations to the organization and tax-deductible as supported by law. To find out more about becoming a member.
